How to catch Ditto in Pokemon GO: Catch Ditto in the wild
Users across the world are reporting Ditto appearing in their Pokedex from random catches – yes that’s right, you can finally catch Ditto!
Ditto will be disguised as another Pokemon – this can be anything from a Pidgey to a Dragonite! You’ll only find out you’ve caught Ditto after you’ve successfully caught the Pokemon, so make sure you get your throws right and use a curve ball in order to increase the likelihood of your catch! How to catch Ditto in Pokemon GO: Ditto stats in Pokemon GO
Ditto’s stats aren’t particularly good, but it does hold one major attribute in its favour. Its base move is ‘Transform’ (0) with its special being ‘Struggle’ (15) – this means you will be able to transform into any Pokemon you fight in gym battles! This should make gym battles a lot more interesting and allow you to try new Pokemon. However, interestingly enough, when you take it into a gym battle – it will use your Ditto’s IV % and match it to a similar CP of your opposition – see a YouTube video from WhatUpMC here. Ditto seems likea good Pokemon to attack a gym (as long as you’ve got a good IV % – use this website to calculate it). But for defending a gym, Ditto is rather weak.
